The United States Mint released two different Proof sets in 1986. One contained the Lincoln Cent, Jefferson Nickel, Roosevelt Dime, Washington Quarter and Kennedy Half Dollar, all struck to a mirrored Proof condition. The other, a special Prestige Proof Set, included two additional coins – the 1986 Statue of Liberty Commemorative Half Dollar and Silver Dollar! This is that latter set, struck to a limited mintage of just 599,317 sets – four times fewer than the mintage of its standard Proof Set counterpart.
